Frequently Asked Questions

At Kingswood Foot Care Mobile Practice, we understand that you may have questions about how our mobile foot care service operates. To provide you with clarity and peace of mind, we have compiled the answers to some frequently asked questions below.

I specialize in treating a variety of common foot conditions, including fungal infections, corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, thickened nails, and cracked heels. I also provide care for foot pain, diabetic foot issues, and general foot maintenance. My goal is to help you maintain healthy, comfortable feet through personalized treatments.

Routine foot care is essential for preventing common issues like infections, discomfort, and skin problems. By regularly assessing and treating your feet, I can help you avoid complications and maintain your mobility. Consistent care also promotes circulation, relieves pain, and keeps your feet looking and feeling their best.

During the appointment, I will perform a thorough assessment of your feet and medical history are conducted, discuss any concerns you may have, and develop a personalized care plan tailored to your needs. Whether it’s routine maintenance or addressing specific issues, my aim is to ensure you are comfortable and confident in your foot health journey.

Regular foot assessments are crucial for your overall foot health and well-being as they help identify any potential issues or abnormalities. By undergoing regular assessments, you can detect and address problems such as foot pain, skin conditions, or deformities at an early stage. This allows for timely intervention and appropriate foot care, ensuring that you maintain optimal foot health and minimize the risk of developing serious complications in the future.

For corns and calluses, I carefully remove the hard skin using medical-grade tools to restore comfort. Ingrown toenails are treated through gentle trimming and, if necessary, further interventions to prevent future problems. Each treatment is tailored to your specific needs, ensuring relief and long-term results.

Absolutely! Diabetic foot care is crucial in preventing complications like ulcers and infections. I provide specialized care to monitor and manage any foot issues related to diabetes. Regular foot check-ups can help identify problems early, ensuring they are treated before they worsen.

It depends on your specific needs, but for most individuals, a check-up every 6 to 8 weeks is recommended. If you have conditions like diabetes or other ongoing foot concerns, more frequent visits may be necessary to monitor your foot health and prevent complications.
